Royal Opera House Restaurants are fully entering into the spirit of Season opener Anna Nicole with menus that include macaroni cheese, burgers, chilli-cheese fries and cheesecake. Autumnal classics accompany Il barbiere di siviglia: rabbit casserole with cocotte potatoes and wilted spinach, or rare-roast beef fillet with shallot tart and red wine jus.

For L’elisir d’amore, the menus will share the romantic theme of the production, including rose-scented bellinis and a heart-shaped white chocolate mousse filled with plum compote. In contrast, our Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland menu features ‘Storm in a Teacup’, a spectacular dessert concoction of chocolate, praline, hazelnuts, meringue and cream.

Over the summer, we have also been busy perfecting London’s new sophisticated afternoon treat: Tea at the Royal Opera House. Tea is served in the Paul Hamlyn Hall on selected days throughout the Autumn Season, and you do not need performance tickets to attend. Find out more. Pre-book here.

For those looking for a bargain, the Amphitheatre Restaurant offers some terrific deals for ballet triple bills, such as two courses for under £20, or the option to pick up a sandwich, salad or dessert in the Amphitheatre Bar or Champagne Bar. Similarly, our popular Supper Trays, served in the Paul Hamlyn Hall, are another marvellous way to enjoy a quick three-course menu for just £28, either pre-performance or during the interval.
